SPOONLIVE showcased the debut of art videos inspired by health and well-being

The nonprofit SPOONLIVE strives to make health fashionable. Its brand rebirth launched on September 22, 2012, at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCa) stemmed from the late international fashion magazine SPOON, which supported creative freedom for rising talent. 

Art videos inspired by healthy living were commissioned by SPOONLIVE exclusively for this event. Artists included:

  • David Moquay

Additionally, renowned doctor Doris Rapp presented ‘How To Find Out If Foods Are Your Problem in 5-7 Days and What You Can Do About It’ and a Q&A session.

Dr. Doris Rapp was a board-certified environmental, medical specialist, pediatric allergist, and homeopath. She authored over 50 articles and many books, including the bestsellers Is This Your ChildIs This Your Child’s WorldOur Toxic World – A Wake-Up Call, and 32 Tips To Keep You Safe. Dr. Rapp appeared on Oprah, Larry King, Phil Donahue, and other TV shows, and received many awards.

She passed away at the age of 91 in May of 2021. Check out one of her videos below.

SPOONLIVE is a nonprofit educating citizens on health and well-being through quality nutrients, exercise, and a clean environment. Local, national, and international artists were given educational materials and asked to create art inspired by what they learned. Five of the artists’ videos were presented at the event.
